In the fall of 2019 a few hundred people visited my studio and some painted. They left precious marks on the front of this canvas and signed the back of it. I used their marks as I created a big bouquet of flowers in honor of community and camaraderie. They were all so good natured — tiny babies helped by their mamas and grandparents and all ages in between. Some were nervous; some were definitely not. They smiled as they stroked the canvas, and I nearly burst at the beauty of all these folks sharing in the simple and divine act of creating.
